The town of Suances has some very lovely beaches in addition to locals giving visitors only the warmest of welcome. During summers, tourists just love to dip in the sea; the coastline is not too crowded and everyone can enjoy the warmth of the sun and the lovely waters.
Just two kilometers away form the village of Tagle, one can drop by the fine sandy beach of El Sable de Tagle that stretches to about 520 meters.
The most popular beach of the town is probably Cantabria's Costa Central mainly because of its accessibility and divine beauty. The beach can be found at the mouth of the estuary of San Martin, very near Suances. Its golden fine sand extends to up to 1,030 meters.
The small beach of La Ribera, extending to only 150 meters, has fine golden sand complementing its beautiful blue waters. La Ribera Beach is located just along the town’s estuary.
Just right outside the town, Los Locos Beach is a haven for surfers who enjoy strong waves. Surf aficionados abound the place even though access can be a bit of a challenge, with high cliffs surrounding the beach. The beach stretches about 750 meters of fine golden sand.
